Tom Wilcox was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He graduated from Miami University with a Bachelor of Environmental Design and received his Master of Architecture degree from the University of Michigan. He has been living and working in Cincinnati since 1991, and is a registered architect in Ohio and Michigan, as well as being certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.

Tom has worked almost exclusively for small architectural firms, with a range of experience including healthcare, industrial, commercial, religious and residential projects. In 2001, Tom started his own architectural practice, focusing on residential and small commercial projects. In the interest of further architectural development, Tom will occasionally serve as the construction manager on a residential job he has designed. This provides the client with continual close contact with Tom from the initial design meeting through the end of construction, and gets Tom intimately involved with every aspect and detail of the construction.
